Nitrophyl float & brass insert tube now available for the early style two piece Peterson brother's fuel feeder. These nitrophyl float's require no sealing, are ethanol resistant & last forever. The brass insert tube is designed to fit on the original stock 1/8" diameter float rod with a .035 wide groove. Floats are $30.00 each, brass insert tube, washer & clip are $12.00 each. This price includes packaging & first class shipping with in the USA.

You can use your old brass tube & clip if you like, but you will have to be very careful sodering or you can damage the float from to much heat. Nytrophyl is not as forgiving as Cork when it comes to heat. Using a business card in between the float & brass you are sodering helps insulate from the heat. The new brass tube & clip (pictured above) requires no sodering on your part.

Nitrophyl float & brass threaded insert tube now available for late style one piece DEW fuel feeder. These nitrophyl float's require no sealing, are ethanol resistant & last forever. The brass insert tube is an exact copy of the original and has a 6-32 internal thread. Floats are $30.00 each, brass insert tubes are $12.00 each. This price includes the cost of packaging and first class shipping with in the USA.

You can use your old brass insert tube if you like but you will have to clean all the old cork & glue off of it and bond it in the new float with glue. I use cyanoacrylate (Super Glue) but you have to be fast about inserting the brass tube all the way to the proper depth otherwise you might get it stuck halfway. If your worried about getting the brass tube stuck halfway you can put your container of superglue in the freezer or fridge just long enough to get it cold and this will help slow down the bonding time a little.
