Two different patent's, First patent #732,343 dated June 30,1903 by Arthur Frederick Evans of Cambridge, England pertains to the whole engine & fuel system design.  Arthur Colton Co. either acquired this patent or the rights from Mr. Evans who resided in England. Arthur Colton was originally from England so there must have been a connection from previous years. Second patent #1,149,296 dated August 10, 1915 by Burton W. Scott and Charles J. Schiemer of Detroit, Michigan who were assignors to the Arthur Colton Company. This patent pertains to just the fuel reservoir/injector system.
